Sublimation is a process where a solid substance transitions directly into a gas without passing through the liquid phase. In sublimation printing, special dyes are used to print designs onto a transfer paper, which are then transferred onto a substrate (like a mug) using a Joto Mug Press.

You can put virtually any design, photograph, or artwork on sublimation mugs. The only limitation is your client’s imagination! Common designs include personalized messages, logos, photographs, and colorful patterns.

You'll need a sublimation printer, sublimation ink, sublimation transfer paper, a heat press specifically designed for mugs, and of course, sublimation-coated mugs.
